At Weissengruber-Textil we always strive for the highest quality and fair treatment of each other, our customers and suppliers and of course our environment. We have been pursuing many certifications for years, others are currently being developed. We have been ahead of the current state of requirements for decades.
With our current project, the Green Button, we are taking further necessary steps towards a more sustainable society.
Greatest Risks
Discrimination
We have strict policies in place to prevent discrimination, sexual abuse and violence in the workplace. Training to raise awareness among all employees and a trustworthy complaints system are the focus of our efforts.
Occupational health and safety
We are committed to ensuring the highest standards in the field of occupational health and safety. Regular safety checks, training and the implementation of a comprehensive occupational health and safety management system ensure that risks are minimised.
Living wages
We are actively committed to the payment of living wages along our entire supply chain. Regular audits and discussions with suppliers ensure that fair wages are paid.
Freedom of association and right to collective bargaining
We respect and promote employees' rights to freedom of expression, organization and collective bargaining. Through dialogue with trade unions and other employee representatives, we ensure that conflicts can be identified at an early stage and resolved peacefully.
Other lower risks include
water consumption, water pollution, forced labour, child labour, overtime, hazardous chemicals, minimum wage, greenhouse gas emissions, corruption
Vulnerable Groups
Women and Migrants
We are actively committed to supporting women and their rights, including through our partnership with Mama Cash, a leading global organization dedicated to the empowerment of women and girls. Mama Cash supports initiatives that address gender-based violence, discrimination, and inequality. Through our collaboration, we help empower women around the world, assert their rights, and create a more just society. This support is part of our commitment to provide targeted support for vulnerable groups and to bring about long-term positive change.
Children
We are committed to the protection of children and are committed to combating child labour. By adhering to international standards in our supply chain and working with partner organizations, we ensure that children are protected from exploitation. Our goal is to give them access to education and to improve their future prospects in the long term.
Temporary workers
Home workers
People with physical or mental disabilities
Their needs are above all living wages, independence, financial independence, non-violent lifestyle, insurance, no forced labour, a good working atmosphere, a healthy working environment, equipment with appropriate work equipment, education and no child labour.
